I will always remember the coon hunting times we had together and the time we had at the hunting club with our old Scouts. I remember one thing he always told me which I will never forget "Always remember where you came from and never forget that" I guess he was meaning to say "be humble always"

Charles Fred, was a life long friend to my family. He was also, along with Bud Dial, the guy that put and "A" in my hair at A&M. He was a great and caring man who loved Drew County. Few come along in a generation like Charlie Fred. Condolences to all his family.

Mary Emma Goyne Turner
Eudora,, AR

Charles Fred, the members of our families - Goyne, Kemp, Grant, Meredith ,Lynn to name a "few", could always count on Stephenson Dearman to be there for their final services. I will always remember when my Brother and I fly back from CA with our dear Mother for burial, when we landed in Little Rock, you were standing waiting at the airport and when you spotted us your eyes light up and a big smile and a hug. My Dad shared with us in 1935 he assisted in getting families to join the funeral program (We were A/C#36) as he did for my brother (Van), Mom, him, and me (Mary E) and told us to be sure to keep it current. . You will long be remembered .... and thank God "Chuck" and son are filling your shoes" .xxooxx

Mr. Dearman was a good man, I grew up here in monticello he and my grandfather were good friends, he helped him greatly when my grandmother pasted, he was honest and fair he would also give you a direct answer to any question you asked so if you didn't really want to know the answer he wasn't the one to ask. I also attended school with is son Chuck who has also turned out to be a good man and friend my prayers are with him and his family.
