Donald Lee King, age 81 of Monticello, AR, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his home. He was born July 6, 1942, in Monticello, AR to the late William King and Gertrude Johnson King.
He was a retired Monticello Police Officer and attended the Church of Christ. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing his yard, talking about the weather, and sitting in the swing on his front porch. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, William King.
He is survived by his wife, Diana King of Monticello; Jason King of Monticello, Rickey Megee of Seattle, WA and Charity Thurman of Conway.
Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Tyro Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday preceding the graveside service at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. You can sign Don's guestbook registry on this page.
