Mary Louise Spencer
March 8, 1940 - December 13, 2014

Mary Louise Spencer was born March 8, 1940, to the late Lula Mae Block and Lemmuel Ridgell, Sr. She departed this life to a life of rest on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014.

She was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest AME Church until she relocated to Camden, AR, in 1991. She was employed at Walmart as a department manager until her failing health. Everyone who knew “Mrs. Louise”, knew she was very outspoken, whatever came up would come out. She believed in being truthful because she had a big heart. She shared whatever she had with those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Spencer; one daughter, Doris Lee Dobbins; three brothers, Jerry, Keith, and Rodney Ridgell; a loving aunt and uncle, Bessie Harden and Willie A. Vincent.

She is survived by her four daughters, Sharry (Richard) Green, Jacqueline Junior, and Yolanda (Chris) Simpson, all of Monticello, AR, and Tavonica Dobbins of Camden, AR; three sons, Charlie Dobbins, Jr. and Ronnie (Bonnie) Junior, both of Monticello, AR, and Randy Junior of Camden, AR; two sisters, Larhetha Block, and Ruthie Block, both of California; four brothers, Donnie Green of California, Karon Ridgell, Lemmeul Ridgell of Monticello and Melvin Ridgell of Little Rock; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and 7 stepchildren; a special neice, Sheelia Harris of California; two wonderful people that were more than friends, Lucille Goudy of Monticello and Claudette Colbert of Minnesota; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 20 at Stephenson Dearman Chapel with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
