Agnes Aileen Mills McManus Bates, 86, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was born May 6, 1927 in Senath, MO.

She was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Ladelle Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late George B. Mills and Effie Deal Mills and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Elison H. McManus, Jr. and Robert Bates, three brothers, Sammy Mills, J. B. Mills and Cecil Mills, two sisters, Georgia Jinxs and Lula Jo Kowtaski.

Survivors include one son, Tony McManus and wife, Diane, of Monticello; two daughters, Sherry Pryor of Ladelle and Linda J. Faulkner and husband, Bruce, of Monticello; one sister, Penny Deal of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Kristi Best and husband, Tommy, Jackie Lemley, Wes Pryor and Joey Lemley; six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
