Mary E. Vance Barnett, 72, of Monticello, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at her home. She was born July 31, 1941 in Collins, AR the daughter of the late John Edward Vance and Amy Edwards Vance.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cominto Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by four sons, Ronnie King, Spencer Barnett, David Barnett and Stephen SanFalice, grandchildren, Micha Ratledge, McKenzie Bennett and Jay Ratledge.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dewey “Runt” Barnett of Monticello; her children, Belinda King and Shelia Ratledge and husband, Danny, both of Monticello, Terry King and wife, Rhonda and Randy King and wife, Norma, both of Selma, daughter in law, Brenda King of Selma, Becky Bennett and husband, Marlon of Monticello, Vernon Barnett of Little Rock, Nonnie Barnett of Monticello, Ben Barnett of Little Rock, Emily Barnett of White Hall, Jana Owen of Star City, Kevin, Jason, John Tyler, Pete, Michael and Dominque Barnett, all of Monticello, Jessica, Julie and Sammie Barnett, all of Monticello; one brother, Edward “Dippy Jo” Vance of Cominto; two sisters, Carol Barnett of Green Hill and Dot Craig of Collins; thirty one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
