Deacon Loman Lee Daniels, age 66 of Monticello passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was born March 1, 1948 in Lacey, AR to Onnie Lee Daniels and the late Kelsie Daniels. He was also preceded in death by his father, Kelsie Daniels, granddaughter, Toni Lynne Green, and a sister, Dorothy Daniels-McCray.
He was a 1967 graduate of Drew Central High School. Worked in pulp wood and a retired Burlington Industries employee where he worked for 32 years. Was a member of Holy Divine Spiritual Church, where he was a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. He had a great love for teaching the word.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of thirty-nine years, Rosetta King-Daniels of Monticello; two daughters, Dana Davis, of Houston, TX, and Erika Green (Tony) of Pine Bluff, AR; three grandchildren, De’Vantre Daniels, Travon Daniels, and Candis Davis; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kennedy. Mother, Onnie Lee Daniels. four sisters, Ruby Wilson, Mary Foster (Melvin) both of Monticello, AR, Judi Sweetenburg (James), Barbara Cooney (Robert) both Little Rock, AR, Two brothers, Kelsie Daniels Jr.(Elizabeth) of Pine Bluff, AR and Robert Douglas “Junior” of Monticello, AR; one uncle, Lamar Daniel (Renee)of Sacramento, CA. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
