Sister Willie Mae Miller was born in Monticello, AR, on July 6, 1943, to the late James Ingram and Jessie Mae Grandy. She departed this life on August 9, 2014, at the Woods of Monticello in Monticello, AR.
At an early age, she joined Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and committed her life to the Lord. She was a homemaker. In later years, she was unable to attend church due to complications, but she always kept God close to her heart and knew when to praise Him. Sister Willie Mae loved people, her family and she never met a stranger.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Ray Rush.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Delbert (Lorraine) Arrington of Lacey, AR, and Leonard Ingram of Monticello, AR; two daughters, Carolyn (Leron Sr.) Miller and Renee Rush, both of Monticello, AR; one brother, James Ingram of Hot Springs, AR; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
