Gregory Demoine Harris was born Sept. 7, 1984, to Stacey Deshazer-Franklin and Gregory Harris, Sr., in Monticello, AR. He departed this life on Aug. 19, 2014, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR.

A 2002 graduate of Monticello High School, he served in the U.S. Armed Forces until 2006. Upon his release, he attended the University of Texas at Austin and later transferred to Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, AR, to pursue a career in mechanics. He was currently enrolled at Great Rivers Vo-Technical College until death.

He was united in matrimony to Erica Moreland in 2012 and was awaiting the birth of his first child, Aubrey Jade Nicole Harris, in September.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Harris and Sherby Simmons, a very special great-grandmother, Annie Mae Deshazer and stepfather, John Franklin, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Erica Harris; stepdaughter, Summer Ward; his mother, Stacey Deshazer Franklin of Monticello, AR; his father, Gregory Harris, Sr. of Little Rock, AR; four brothers, Artavise Deshazer of Monticello, AR, Sharvione, Jamarious and Kalon Harris, all of Little Rock, AR; one sister, MyIsha Harris of Little Rock, AR; his stepmother, Joyce Harris of Little Rock, AR; his grandparents, Gloria and Willie Walton of Monticello, AR; his grandfather, Willie Christian of Omaha, NE; two uncles, Wang (Annette) Simmons and Dominick (Jennifer) Simmons, both of Little Rock, AR; three aunts, Carolyn (Lenox) Morgan of Olive Branch, MS, Crystal (Tommy) Harvey of Inkster, MI, and Sandra Kaye Harris of Monticello, AR; four nephews, a host of other relatives and friends and cousins who loved him dearly, Ladetria Lambert, Chelsey Rhodes, M’Leia Rhodes, Markissha Tenner, Ambreal Tenner, Deylan Smith, Shirley Deshazer, Zavarius Johnson, Lakissha Tenner, Sharalon Freeman, Sydney Owens and Undrae (DJ) Lambert; a very special cousin-aunt-mom, Veronica Rhodes; a special friend, Isaiah Thomas; last but not least, a special loving stepfather, Kenneth Smith.
