Etta Mills Daugherty Caperton, 94 of Monticello passed away, Friday, January 22, 2016 at The Woods Nursing and Rehab facility in Monticello. She was born April 23, 1921 in Bradley County to the late Elmore & Mellie Autman Mills.

She was the widow of Luther Daugherty and Clyde “Sid” Caperton. She was a homemaker and a member of Lacey Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Alexander, Dovie Evans and Bammer Sutton; her brothers, Obie Mills, Roy Mills, Carl Mills and Cordell Mills.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Daugherty and wife Shirley of Monticello.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lacey Cemetery. Visitation will be one prior to service starting at 9:30 a.m. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
