Carolyn Maier Lane, age 69 of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at her home. She was born October 18, 1946 in Monticello to the late Eugene Maier and Velma Hawkins Maier.

She retired from Burlington Industries after 35 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Shannon Dale Harris.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Lane of Monticello; one daughter, Cynthia Harris Griffin and husband John of Nashville, TN; one granddaughter, Courtney Leggett of Monticello.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
