Naomi Mann Copeland, 98, received her Angel Wings, Saturday, June 17, 2017, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was born May 3rd, 1919, in Wilmar, Ar. to Henry and Gladys Mann. Naomi never knew her father, as he had passed away before her birth. Her final wish was to be laid to rest beside him.

Naomi was a member of the Riverdale Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA and volunteered tirelessly with various charities throughout the years. Her interests included family, cooking, sewing and reading. She loved all animals and treated them as pets.

Naomi is survived by her brother-in-law Ray Anding; brother-in-law Robert Ohrberg; sister-in-law Pat Ohrberg; sister-in-law Helen Ohrberg; son George E Ohrberg Jr. and spouse Cynthia L Ohrberg; daughter-in-law Linda Porter; step-son Scott Copeland; step-daughter Rhoda Richardson; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Mann; step father Andy Scharf; mother Gladys Huskey Scharf; first spouse Alton Osler "Blackie" Porter; second spouse George E. Ohrberg Sr.; third spouse Bert F. Copeland; a son Michael Glenn Porter; a daughter Linda Porter Brouillette; and two sisters, Dorothy Anding and Beth Smith.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 3rd at 1:00 pm at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel in Monticello, AR with burial in Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
