Jimmy Lane Fletcher, Sr.
May 8, 1939 - October 30, 2017

Jimmy Lane Fletcher, Sr., age 78 of Collins, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. He was born May 8, 1939 in Cornie Station, AR to the late John W. and Maudie Bell Lowery Fletcher.

He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Collins Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Mr. Fletcher loved his work and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry, Ralph, Alton and Doug Fletcher.

Survivors include his wife Truby Legg Fletcher of Collins; three daughters, Virginia Magness and husband Eddie of Texarkana; Jodie Holstead and husband Jason of Monticello; Carrie Fletcher Paris of Collins; one son, Jimmy Lane Fletcher, Jr. and wife Belinda of Collins; grandchildren, Chad and Jonathan Magness, Mark Fletcher, Blake and Gunnar Holstead, Macey Fletcher, Matthew and Annabelle Paris; great grandchildren, Dalton, Beckett, and Everett Magness, Jimmy James (J.J.), Jacob, Raelynn and Estie Marie Fletcher; one sister, Johnnie Bell Yelvington of Collierville, TN; and two brothers, Dallas Fletcher of Monticello and Rex Fletcher of Arkansas City.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Collins Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rash Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Collins Baptist Church, 127 Collins Moss St., Dermott, AR 71638.
