Frank Adcock, Jr. of Jordan Hill Louisiana died February 3, 2010 after a brief illness. A loving family and his church family mourn his leaving but are assured of seeing him again.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2011 at United Baptist Church in Jordan Hill with Rev. Earnest Little officiating. A second was be held at 3:30 p.m. at Green Hill Methodist Church in Green Hill Arkansas with Rev. Kenny Worbington officiating.

Frank was born in Warren, Arkansas on April 21, 1925. He was a World War II Veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard a Destroyer in the South Pacific and other areas.

Frank was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy, brother, Floyd Adcock, and a sister Jewel Dean Woodall. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janice, a son, Paul, two grandchildren Scott Adcock and Rachel Adcock, two sisters, Lorena Huitt of Warren, Arkansas and Lucille Allen of Nash, Texas.

Frank lived his life fully according to God’s laws and showed his love and concern to everyone he came in contact with. The example he set was not for his own edification but was always pointing to the glory of Jesus with his sincere belief of and eternity at God’s side. Frank loved his church family and was always there for them. He would want no one to mourn his passing but to celebrate the time they had together.
He will be greatly missed.
