Margie Ellen Hurst Pennington, 74 went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1937 to late Robert Edward and Jewel Sloop Hurst.

She was the wife of the late Davie Lee Pennington and was married for 47 years before he passed away on May 5, 2002. Four brothers and six sisters also preceded her in death.

She loved working in her church, yard, and fishing. She also loved being with her family and friends.

Survivors include; two daughters, Ellen Jane Hayes and husband Tony and Jewel Jeanette Cleaver and husband Clint; three grandchildren, Meghan Hayes Kelly and husband Ray, Ethan Hayes, and Eric Cleaver.
