Richard Lynn 'Ricky' Young of Denver, CO, formerly of Wilmar, passed away April 11, 2011 at Rose Hospital in Denver, CO. He was born January 27, 1953 in Bonne Terre, MO.

Ricky was an interior designer for Objects LTD in Denver. He was a 1971 graduate of Wilmar High School as valedictorium of his class and attended UAM, graduated Cum Laude from Ouachita in 1975 and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Sigma and was on the Ouachitonian Editorial and was a member of many clubs. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Merrell Young and his grandparents, Daniel Clinton and Edna Young.

Survivors include his mother, Rosie Lee Shepherd Young of Wilmar; two brothers, Mike Young and wife, Gay and Mark Young, all of Wilmar; three sisters, Kathy Taylor and husband, Jerry of Rye, Becky Pace and husband, Gary of Wilmar and Melanie Evans and husband, Dennis of Warren; seven nephews, two nieces, six great-nephews, five great-nieces and a host of loving and caring friends.
