Eugene E. Jordan, Jr., age 69, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born September 1, 1941 in Monticello.

He was a retired pipefitter and welder, an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Eugene E. Jordan, Sr. and Erlene DeArmond Jordan and was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Johnson Jordan of Monticello; one son, John Jordan and wife, Gloria of Monticello; one daughter, Genia Jordan Crouch and husband, David of Monticello; one grandson, J J Jordan and wife, Candace; and one great-grandchild, Aiden Jordan.
