James Harmon Hense, age 68 of Monticello passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born August 14, 1945 in Topeka, Arizona to the late Wesley Garfield Hense and Dorothy Lucille Fulkerson Hense.

Survivors include two sons, Alvis Hense of Michigan and James Hense, Jr. of Monticello; five daughters, Patricia Murphy, Charlotte Martin and Lisa Adams all of Monticello, Stacy McCloud of Ladelle and Tonya Hoopergardener of Pennsylvania; two brothers, John Fulkerson of Winchester and Bobby Hense of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Dorothy Margaret Price of Monticello; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his companion, Elizabeth Hense.
