Grady Aubrey Smith, Jr., age 74 of Lake Village passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his home in Lake Village. He was born May 12, 1939 to the late Grady Aubrey Smith, Sr. and Doris Stennett Smith.

He was a truck driver, an avid fisherman, a member of the Bayou Mason Baptist Church of Lake Village and an iron worker where he was a member of the iron workers union. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jean Smith; one daughter; and a stepson, Phillip Adrian McDonald, Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Shelia Hummel of Monticello, Maria McDonald of Lake Village and Shelia Kay Phillip; one son, Keith Smith; one brother, Bobby Wayne Smith of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Shane and Brandy McDonald, April Brooks, Phillip McDonald, III and Valicia Adams; and seven great grandchildren, Alex, Stormy, Jason, Jessie, Carmen, Lorena and Dylan.
