Mary Ellen Hogue Willis, 72 of Monticello passed away April 2, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born June 14, 1941 to the late Matthew Hogue and Eunice Ritchey Hogue.

She was a retired nurses aid and homemaker and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Monticello. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Harry Blue Barnett.

Survivors include her husband Jefferson Willis; three sons, Ritchey Barnett and wife, Paula of Monticello, Billy Barnett and wife Pam, of Monticello and Jerry Barnett and wife, Stacy of Crossett; one daughter, Debbie Walls of Monticello; one brother, William Lee Hogue of Dallas, TX; one sister, Shirley Kimbrell of Rison; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also her beloved pet dog, Baby Girl; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the home of Ritchey Barnett at 209 East Pope St., Monticello from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday night.
