Mary Lynn Boyette Jaggers
February 5, 1951 - April 6, 2014

Mary Lynn Boyette Jaggers, age 63, of Monticello died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR after a long illness.

Mary Lynn was born on February 5, 1951 in Dumas, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Dumas High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. After teaching for many years in the Dumas School District, Mary Lynn joined the banking family at Union Bank and Trust in Monticello, where she worked for 25 years. She truly loved and valued the relationships she made with both her colleagues and customers. Mary Lynn’s favorite hobby was barrel racing and she had a great love for her church, Shady Grove Missionary Baptist in Monticello. Mary Lynn had a warm heart, gentle spirit, and was a true fighter in dealing with her illness. She always put her family before herself and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three children; Mystie Williams and husband Jerry of Little Rock, Jeremy Jaggers of Monticello and Cody Jaggers who is stationed at Fort Drum in upstate New York; four grandsons, Landry, Ryan, Julian, and Criston Williams of Little Rock. She is also survived by three sisters, Pat Oswald of Sherwood, Pam Boyette of Dumas, and Debra Hoag of Chicago, Illinois; and Marnette Jaggers, who was like a second mother to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis (Sonny Boy) Boyette and Frankie Boyette; and a brother, Danny Boyette.

The family wants to offer a special thank you to all the thoughtful people at Union Bank and Trust and Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church for all they did to help throughout this long journey. Another great appreciation to her nephrologist, Dr. Shane Kimball of Little Rock and the staff at Baptist Medical Center.
