I moved to El Dorado in 1972 to begin a new job at Barton Jr. High School. There I met Mrs. Bellott & we found we had in common our Drew County roots. Her mom, Mrs. Raines, had been a teacher in the elementary school I attended.
After many years we both moved back "home." I would see her from time to time at Wal Mart & we would visit. She enjoyed talking about her family.
I am sorry for your loss; she was a sweet lady & a friend.

John, I'm so very sorry to read that we have lost your Mom. As you know, I loved her so very much. I really enjoyed our many visits when she would come in the office and when I'd see her around town.
