Marquis or Mr. Mac as the kids called him, was a blessing to the special education department at Drew Central.
As a grandparent of one of his students we will always remember his sweet heart and peaceful countenance. My family prays for his family, which is connected to our family. Because of these connections we’re praying for our whole family.

I know there are no words that I can say which will ease your hearts, comfort your spirits, or speak to the grief of losing Marquis "Mack". It aches my heart, I am in disbelief that he has left this earth so soon.

Marquis was a sweet, caring, very giving , and loving person. I witnessed it everyday! He always had a smile on his face with kind words for everyone.
In October, Marquis and I had a very important conversation. I asked him if he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He assured me that he did and that he would spend eternity in heaven. I'm so thankful that he had that assurance and that I know and will see him again one day.
He is truly missed! My prayers are with the family!
