I met this sweet, kind woman when she started coming to our church services in Arkadelphia. She always has a kind word for others and when she would tell ya that she was praying for ya, you knew it wasn’t just lip service. She communicated with her Heavenly Father so regularly he was more like a loving father than some distant God on a throne.
When we moved she gave me one of the biggest hugs and wished us well.
Violet Ford will always be remembered by me as a loving, devoted daughter of God, sent to remind us that God loves us no matter our status in society or the number of letters after our names. He watches how we treat others and he gives us sweet people like Violet to remind us that we can be a little kinder, a little lore patient and a little more faithful.
Enjoy that beautiful rest. Free from pain and blessed with an understanding that would confound the smartest people in earth.
