Joanna , keeping you in my heart and prayers during such a difficult time for you and your kids . Stephen became my friend instantly, he was such help when I needed him and he was always so sweet to surprise me with my favorite drink . He loved you very much and as I heard you mention several times how good he was to you . Keep those good memories close to your heart and let the love y’all shared carrying you though the coming months .

Kay and Stephen,
My deepest condolences for the loss of your precious son.
Lean in to the love of your friends and family, especially those who stick around when everyone else has seemingly forgotten.
Most of all, I pray that you allow the comfort that only God can bring to surround you during this, the most devastating time in your lives. Remember that He is always there, even when you feel so incredibly alone.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Stephen. I met him years ago when my daughter had him come by the house. Here is this kid, grinning from ear to ear and just says, hi mom. My daughter introduced him as Beatty first, then saying his first name. But "just Beatty" stuck, so that what I called him, Beatty. Never ever was there a time I didn't get a big old Beatty grinn when seeing him over the last 15 plus years. Out and about at the Ball park, Walmart, Drew Central, or gas station. He was always laughing and had that smile, while cracking some comment you just had to laugh back at. I will miss our run ins, and I will miss that smile. Prayers for Audrey, he loved you more than you will ever know. That put the biggest smile on his face, talking about his sweet baby girl Audrey!! Prayers to his family. May God comfort you!!
