Robert Sidney McGlaughlin

Robert Sidney McGlaughlin, age 85 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born September 5, 1930 in Cominto, AR to the late Robert D. McGlaughlin and Mary Lou Ray Kellum.
He was a self-employed pulpwood worker and a member of Cominto Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Edward McGlaughlin; two brothers, James McGlaughlin and Harrison McGlaughlin; and a sister, Lillie McGlaughlin.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Pearl James McGlaughlin of Monticello; one son, Danny McGlaughlin and wife Susan of Monticello; three daughters, Lily Wells and husband Clarence, Judy Brown and husband Jerry, and Jeannie Hall all of Monticello; two stepsons, Ricky McCloud and Wayne McCloud and wife Stacy all of Monticello; three stepdaughters, Kathy Lawson and husband Jerry, Mary Freeman and husband Tommy, and Cheryl Lysee all of Monticello; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lone Sassafras Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearma.com.
