Gertrud Karlein Donham

Gertrud Karlein Donham, age 83 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born June 8, 1934, in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Oskar Josef Karlein and Margareta Gartner Karlein.
She was the widow of Morris W. Donham, a retired beautician, a lifelong member of Arkansas State Women's Bowling Association and has been a resident at Grand Manor of Monticello for the past two years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Edward Anderson; a granddaughter, Taylor Melinda Caldwell; one sister, Rosie Bauman; and two brothers, Herbert Karlein and Volkra Karlein.
Survivors include one son, Rickie Donham of Monticello; two daughters, Doris Jackson of Monticello and Karen Caldwell and husband Jason of Jeanerette, LA; four grandchildren, Neil Anderson, Ked Donham, Kelly Rodriguez and Haley Scott; and five great-grandchildren, Abriana and Shelby Scott and Nora, Kameryn and Joslyn Rodriguez; and a sister-in-law, Clara Bailey.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
