David Orland Hales

David Orland Hales, age 61 of Star City, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born September 2, 1960, in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Garland Woodrow Hales and Ileader Blount Hales.
He was a retired carpenter and painter. David's hobbies included fishing, playing chess and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Garland Terry Hales; and a great nephew, Gauge Owens.
Survivors include one sister, Ileasa Hales Owens of Crossett; five nieces, Tonya Owens of Star City, Bonnie Owens of Crossett, Alesha (Chris) Witschi of Gould, Kelly Hales of Oxford and Angel Owens Piper of Cleveland, GA; three nephews, Jacob (Tiffany) Owens of Monticello, Patrick Owens of Monticello and Garland Hales of Highland, TX; eight great nieces and seven great nephews.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Outlaw Cemetery in Bradley County, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
