Mark G. Banks
October 3, 1958 - November 20, 2021

Mark Banks was born on October 3, 1958 to Wydell Tillman and Rev. Sam Banks in Yancopin, Arkansas. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Velma and Kimberly Tillman, one son; Chad Moore and his wife; Barbara Sue Banks.

Mark attended McGehee Public School in McGehee, Arkansas. While attending, he excelled in track and football. He graduated in 1977.

Mark confessed in Christ at and united with McGehee Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He later united with Trinity' Full Gospel in Monticello, Arkansas and served as an ordained Deacon.

Mark was employed with the Adcock Feed & Seed Company in McGehee for several years. He was later employed with Budweiser Company in McGehee for over 20 years until his health declined.

Mark and Barbara Sue were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, July 28, 1999.

Mark enjoyed sporting events, family gatherings, getting together with friends, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mark leaves to cherish his memories: six sons, Jamon Moore (Lacresha) of Monticello, AR, Kevin Jacobs of Conway , AR, Lorenzo Banks (Marquita) of Fordyce, AR, Kirk Banks (Kerri) of Little Rock, AR, Derrick Banks, and Christian Banks both of Monticello, AR; one daughter, Eboni Banks of Monticello, AR, a brother; Andre Tillman (Ella) of Killeen, TX, four brother-n-laws; Leon Moore (Carol), Doyle Moore, Lonnie Moore of Monticello, AR, William Moore of New York, six sister-n-laws; Sharon Ibukin, Christine Collins, Evelyn Amerine (Benjamin), Shelanda Moore of Monticello, AR, Louise Colbert (LaFrance) of Hamburg, AR, Annette Batts (Mark) of Austin, TX. Mark will also be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
