Joy Herring Reems Burt

Joy Herring Reems Burt, age 92 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Belle View Estates Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, AR. She was born October 29, 1929, in Drew County, AR to the late Travis Herring and Annie Mae Webb Herring.
She was a retired nurse, a Christian and a graduate of Wilmar High School. Mrs. Joy was an amazing person with many talents including cooking, decorating and sewing. She was a caretaker who had a very kind and loving heart. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Wayne Reemes; two daughters, Phyllis Reemes and Tammy Courtney; a son, Ricky Reemes; and brothers, Hugh, Paul, Doyle, Gerald, Lloyd and Wayne Herring.
Her survivors include two sons, Randy Reemes and Shawn Reemes; a brother, Wilbur Herring; two grandchildren, Bodie and Summer Courtney; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
