Sylvia Jane Pace Farrar
September 24, 1938 - June 13, 2025
Sylvia Jane Pace Farrar, age 86 of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, June 13, 2025, at her home. She was born September 24, 1938, in Drew County, AR to the late Woodrow Wilson Pace and Blanche Piper Pace.
She was a retired employee of Commercial Bank of Monticello and member of First United Methodist Church. Sylvia was an excellent cook and a former member of the Monticello Optimist Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Pace and Carl Pace; a daughter, Linda Lewis; and a son, Larry Farrar.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Delbert Farrar of Monticello; daughter, Dayna Nichols and husband Danny of Monticello; son-in-law, Paul Lewis, Jr. of Maumelle; three grandsons, Allen Lewis and wife Melissa of Panama City, FL, Doug Lewis and wife Shelley of Little Rock and Paul Lewis, III and wife Ashley of Irving, TX; and four great grandchildren, Nate, Will and Penny Lewis all of Panama City, FL and Oliver Lewis of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. You can sign Mrs. Sylvia's guestbook registry here on her page.
