John Albert Scroggins
September 2, 1938 - July 23, 2025
John Albert Scroggins, age 86 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at The Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. He was born September 2, 1938, in Bolivar, MO to the late Homer Scroggins and Mary Brown Scroggins.
He was a retired truck driver and maintenance coordinator for Bulloch Real Estate, a United States Air Force Veteran and was of the Baptist faith. John was a firearms enthusiast that enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Scroggins; and a brother, Guy Scroggins.
Survivors include his children, Janet Gavin of Conway and John Scroggins, Jr. of California; and his grandchildren, Brandy Martin, Heather Gavin, Chad Leslie and Heather Langwell.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. You can sign John's guestbook registry here on his page.
