Preston Ray Sandlin

Preston Ray Sandlin, age 69 of Jerome, AR, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025. He was born October 16, 1955, in Dumas, AR to the late Robert Lee Sandlin and Dorothy Lee McMillan Sandlin.
He was a retired farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Colin and Blake Sandlin; and a brother, Robert Lynn Sandlin.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Barnett Sandlin of Jerome; a step daughter, Denise Jones and husband Jamie of Russellville; one son, Steven Sandlin of Montrose; one daughter, Kriston and husband James of Ozark; siblings, Linda Thomas of Star City, Mike Sandlin and wife Debra of Dumas, Larry Sandlin and wife Glenda of Bon Aqua, TN and Doug Sandlin and wife Judy of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Robinson, Brooklynn Sandlin, Dakota Sandlin, Zachary Sandlin, Kimberly Hill; and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Walnut Lake Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. You can sign Mr. Sandlin's guestbook registry here on his page.
