Anna Kitchens Bratton

Anna Beth Kitchens Bratton, age 87, of Monticello, Arkansas, kicked open the Gates of Heaven and said ''Here I Am ''on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Anna Beth was born on November 24, 1938, in Whitesboro, Texas, to Jack (C.T.) and Geraldine Kitchens. She was the eldest of three daughters. She graduated from Haltom City High School in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked as a secretary for several businesses and the First Baptist Church of Alvarado TX. She later became the office manager at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery, where she faithfully served until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Don Bratton, and her daughter, Carla Denise Paul Clay, and niece Julie Riddle Caldwell.
Anna Beth is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Dinah and Bob Riddle, Judy and Larry Marrs, all of Fort Worth, Texas; her sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Gina Paul of Monticello, Arkansas, Wyatt and Donna Paul of Summerville, South Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Anjelica and David Aspinwall, Karaline and Joe Tharp, Charlotte and Hunter Dominy, Christian and Caroline Paul, Anna Jean Clay, and D.J. Clay; and her great-grandchildren: Lilly, Finley, Hazel, Hensley, Joshua, Annie, and Millie.
She also leaves behind two nieces, two nephews, and dear friends (the golden girls) in Weatherford, Texas, and Monticello, Arkansas.
Anna Beth will be remembered for her faithful walk with her Lord, her dedication to family and friends, her big heart with which she has served those around her, and her unique sense of humor and playful antics.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 9th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery in Ft. Worth Texas.
The service will be officiated by her longtime friend and former pastor, Van Houser.
