Diane Montgomery Higgs
December 28, 1962 - March 18, 2026
Cynthia Diane Montgomery Higgs, age 63 of Lonoke, formerly of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home. She was born December 28, 1962, in Monticello, AR to the late Robert Joe Montgomery and Pebble Jean Ward Montgomery.
She was retired and member of Wilmar Baptist Church. Diane loved growing flowers, reading and was always the life of the party. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Tray Montgomery Hale; a brother, Keith Montgomery; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Montgomery; and a nephew, Dustin Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Higgs of Lonoke; two daughters, Sandi Flynn of Carlisle and Kadi Thrower and husband John of Carlisle; one brother, Robert Montgomery of Brazoria, TX; one sister, Jennifer Clements of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Zoe, Cloe, Zayden, Daniel, Octavia, Brookly and Leighton; and one great-grandson, Jacewryn.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Union Cemetery at Rye with Rev. Daren Clements officiating.
