Mignon Grubbs Causey

Evelyn Mignon Grubbs Causey, age 91 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Belle View Estates Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born July 9, 1934, in Drew County, AR to the late Rodney Grubbs and Louise Jones Grubbs.
She was an employee of the Drew County Sheriff's office for many years before working for the Warren School District and later filled out her husband's term as Bradley County Sheriff after his death. Mignon enjoyed traveling and doing yard work.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Sawyer of Monticello and Beth Langdon and husband Doug of Warren; step children, Ricky Roper and wife Kelly of Hermitage, Brenda Brown of Monticello, Sherrill Scroggins and husband Bill of Fountain Hill, Connie Ollie and husband Tom of Pulaski, TN, Mark Causey and wife Tina of Goodman, MO and Mike Causey and wife Brenda of Richland, MO; one sister, Marilyn James of Little Rock; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Lacey Cemetery with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the graveside service at the cemetery. You can sign Mignon's guestbook registry here on her page.
