Brenda Joyce Haney Simpson, 60 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her home. She was born October 19, 1952 in Monticello.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lacey United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Wesley Haney; her grandparents, Jessie and Claude Alsobrook; a grandson, Keith Trantham; and a special friend, Ed Norris.
Survivors include one daughter, Casey Trantham and husband, Ricky of Monticello; her mother, Ruby Brume Haney of Monticello; one brother, James Haney of Monticello; one sister, Teressa Kelly and friend, Dell Black of Monticello; two grandchildren, Kyle Trantham and girlfriend, Colby and Cody Trantham; one nephew, Hunter Neptun and a longtime friend, Mary Coddington.
