Jewel Cooper

Jewel Agnes Pierce Cooper, 78, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2013. She was a servant of the Lord, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born on March 25, 1935.
She was retired from Burlington Industries and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cooper; her parents, Adis Lee Pierce and Virdie Lee Smith Pierce; one son, Larry Adis Cooper and one brother, Zan Pierce, Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Cooper and wife, Sandi of Concord, NC and Fred Cooper and wife, Joy of Monticello; one daughter, Theresa Sanders and husband, William of Star City; one sister, Edna Lee Burns of Portland, AR; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
