Ricky Dewayne Irons, age 49 of Star City, formerly of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at his home in Star City, AR. He was born July 25, 1972, in Greenville, MS to Barbara Ann Pruitt Irons and the late Bobby Dewayne Irons. He was a member of Star City United Pentecostal Church. Ricky's passions included his church and spending time with his wife. He also enjoyed going out to eat and always looked forward to his mother coming to visit him.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Glosson Irons of Star City; one daughter, Angela Kay Irons of Monticello; his mother, Barbara Ann Pruitt Irons of Monticello; his step children, Richard Strickland of Warren, Alisha Brewer of Louisiana, Mercedes Brewer and Mary Darlene Atkinson both of Ethel, MS; his mother-in-law, Mary Mitchell of Star City; an aunt, Opal Forrest of Monticello; and a cousin, Doug Penick (Angie).
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Star City United Pentecostal Church in Star City with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour preceding the funeral service at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
