Erston Wilson was born July 12, 1934, to the late Willie and Ruthie Franklin Wilson. He was a native of Lacey, Arkansas. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Promise Land Baptist Church. He later joined St. Mark Baptist Church. He passed from this life on October 24, 2021, at his son's home in Warren.

Erston joined in holy matrimony with Wanda Jordan, God blessed this union of thirty-plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Wanda Wilson of Monticello; four sons, Calvin (Nellie) Wilson of Little Rock, AR, Wendell (Isabella) Wilson of Warren, AR, Graylin (Nannette) Wilson of Wilmar, AR, Ramonda (Shalonda) Smith of Monticello; three daughters, Cindy (Denver) Robinson, Jacqueline (Mark) Simmons, Stephanie (Benny) Briggs all of Monticello, AR, two brothers, Willie Earl Wilson and Willie Charles (Mildred) Wilson both of Monticello, AR; ten grandchildren; a bunch of great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
