So sad to find out that Britt passed. Our family lived by him for over 30 years before they moved to their new homes. I remember Mrs. Eubank comment that the small house was her doll house and that was where Britt would live. After Mrs. Eubank passed Britt got the big house, what he did with all that room must had been great for all the ceramics he did.
    He will be missed,

Donnie, we have been keeping you and your family in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss. I know Britt has been celebrating meeting Jesus and being reunited with your parents. He never missed church and was always on the front row on the left side until not too long ago when he sat in the back. He loved people and was always so concerned with everyone’s health and well being. Our families have so many memories through the years. I remember going every year with Britt, your dad and Papa Miller to the Optimist Club’s Youth Breakfast. So many fond memories. Britt will definitely be missed by Pauline members and Monticello. May the many prayers bring much comfort in the coming days and weeks to come.

Dear Donnie and Family, I am heartbroken to hear about Brett. There are so many family times shared between our families and so many funny stories about that silly thing. He always had us laughing. I will always see him riding us on his back, calling me Pam and Pam, Karen. Too many of you to keep up with is what he always said. lol Always checking on Mother after Daddy passed. Now Peg..you’d hear him say, don’t worry about me riding out here. It brings me great joy knowing he is with them all now and he is rejoicing with our sweet Jesus. Brett this town loved you and I hope you knew how much. You were the sunshine to many people. God bless you buddy, Love, Marianne ❤️🙏🏻

Donny, thoughts and condolences for you. Britt was a part of many lives here in Monticello, and additionally a part of my childhood/going to church and school with him. He will really be missed.
  24. McKiever LaNell
It was heartbreaking for me to hear that Britt did not survive the motorcycle as I had visited with him at Sav-a-lot that day about my daughter Leslie. He has always came to my house over the years to visit with Randy. They started kindergarten together and he has been a close friend to this family for many many years. He had stayed too late at Sav-a- Lot to speak to me about Leslie and to give me a message for her from him. I urged him to go on home as it was getting dark. That is just the way he was caring for other people. He loved the people of Monticello and they loved him.
  25. Vickey Thornhill Haycox
Britt will be miss in Monticello. From riding his scooter to lunch at City Drug. I have known Britt most of my life. Mrs Eubanks was my counselor at Drew Central and I remember him coming to school with her at times and her talking about Donnie and Britt. I don’t think Britt ever met a stranger and loved to talk. We are praying for you Donnie and the family during this time.
  26. Brenda Jasay Anthoni

We went to church with them at Pauline Baptist. I loved Britt and his family. I also taught Britt in vacation Bible school when I was a teenager. He was a sweet boy. Deepest sympathy at the loss of Britt. I never saw him that he didn't smile and speak. As long as James was alive he would ask me about James. I have several pieces of ceramics that he made for me. He was a good man and will be missed.
