Amaya Kiamni Woodard was born on February 5, 2003, to YaVonda Johnson and Ra'Shun Woodard.

Affectionally known as "Mya Pooh", she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized in Jesus' name at Holmes Chapel Presbyterian Church under the leadership of Pastor Alford Branch.

She attended Kid's First in Warren, AR until the age of 5. She attended Drew Central Consortium until her senior year of high school. She was a 2021 graduate of Monticello High School. Amaya loved spending time with her family and going on vacations. She was a bright and loving person.

On December 2, 2021, Amaya entered a land that knows no sunset or dawning. A land that knows no suffering, no pain, no sorrow, or cares. Among the great clouds of witnesses to meet her there will be her great grandmother Alice Johnson, her great grandparents Curtis and Norma Jean Woodard, and her great grandfather Robert Brooks.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving mother YaVonda Johnson, her father Ra'Shun Woodard, her sister Alycia Vincent, and two brothers Ra'Shun and Ryder Woodard. Her grandparents Wayne (Ruby) Brooks of Pine Bluff, AR, Debbie (Terry) Binns of Wilmar, AR and Linda Woodard and Ray Vincent both of Monticello, AR. Her great grandmothers Bernice Brooks and Willie Mae Vincent of Monticello, AR. Three aunts Jasmine (Robbie) Turner of Hot Springs, AR, Larinda Woodard of Monticello, AR and Sharre Brooks of Little Rock, AR. Two uncles Wyvette Broughton of New Edinburg, AR and Brandon Vincent of Monticello, AR. A special aunt and caregiver Linda Kay Johnson of Monticello, AR. Her godparents Stella Watkins, Freda Calloway and Chris Collins. A special bonus dad Thomas Lee. Three special teachers/friends Pamela Lambert, Melody Johnson and Kasey Smith. My heart is aching and words can't explain how I am feeling now. I watch Mya grow from a baby to a young lady. She was so happy and filled with joy. While being at church she would clap and praise the lord. Mya would lift your spirit up and if you were having a bad day she will make you happy. I will definitely miss her smile . May God give the family strength and comfort.
