Chestee Bell
September 14, 1930 - December 1, 2021

Ms. Chestee Bell, 91, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born September 14, 1930, to the late Johnnie Mae Maxwell and Gus Bell in Mist, Arkansas. At the age of 9, she moved to California in 1939. She retired from Xerox in 1992 and moved back to Arkansas. She was a member of First Baptist Church under the late Rev. Henry L. Richardson. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail. To know Chestee she was a loving and caring person. She was always willing to help others when she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Verlene Hill. Chestee had no children.
She is survived by four great-nieces, quintuplets, Tora Jimerson, Tessa Jimerson- Alexander, Tamara Jimerson, and Tanisha Jimerson; two Goddaughters, Karen Bealer and Shondra Simmons-Morris; Rochelle House and her family; special cousin, Pearline Bealer; special thanks to her friend, Dexter Carr, for his help in her care; as well as a host of other friends and family.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakland Cemetery, in Monticello, Arkansas.
