Jackie Dale Burnett
May 27, 1962 - August 11, 2022

Jackie Burnett, age 60 of Star City AR, left this world, but not our heart's on August 11th, 2022, to be with his Lord and Savior.
He was born on May 27th, 1962, to Marvin Eugene Burnett and Margie Henley Burnett. He was a retired Correctional Officer from the Cummins Unit and did part-time police work for Lincoln County, where he became the county's first ever crime scene technician. He enjoyed fishing, being in nature, and spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He will be forever loved and greatly missed, but will continue to live on through our memories, and the ripple effect that was created by everyone he touched or helped in a time of need. He believed in hard work, living with integrity, and that you always get back what you put out in life. His lifelong philosophy was, "An excuse is a lack of desire!"
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jolynn Godfrey Burnett; father, Marvin Eugene Burnett; sister, Kartha Burnett Trantham; and brother, Allen Burnett.
His survivors include his loving mother, Margie Henley Burnett; three brothers, Danny Burnett, Randy Burnett, and Johnny Burnett; four daughters, Regina Kyle, Tracy Burnett, Crystal Burnett, and April Biggs; five grandchildren, Trenton Kyle, Zander Kyle, Kayleigh Burnett, Stormy Burnett, and Peyton Biggs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17th at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello, AR from 5:00-8:00 pm.
Graveside Services and burial will take place on August 18th at Green Mount Cemetery on Hwy 83, Star City, AR at 2:00 pm. Brother Don Boreland will be the pastor graciously overseeing the graveside services with Brother Mitchell Johnson offering his service in song.
A reception will follow the graveside service, for family and friends at the home of Randy and Carla Burnett. 54 Laurel lane, Star City, AR 71667.
