Nellie Frances Lollar Jordan, age 74 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at her home. She was born December 2, 1947, in Monticello Arkansas to the late Woodrow Lollar and Laura Lucille Berryman Lollar.

Mrs. Frances loved the Lord and her family and loved teaching the word of God to anyone on any subject. She taught ladies Sunday school for 39 years and loved to do ladies seminars. She enjoyed playing her character, "Ms. Daisy" for humor and many ladies have experienced her as well. She loved gospel music, singing in the choir, and enjoyed singing specials at her church. Mrs. Frances was a people person who loved being around people. She also served Drew Memorial Hospital as a ''pink lady''.

Frances was married to a minister, Rev. Gary Jordan for 52 years, who was the pastor at Monticello Baptist Temple from 1982-2016 and preceded her in death. She was the most kind and joyful person you would ever meet. Anyone that knew Frances loved her and the time they spent together. Although her cooking was good, you do not want her "sweet'' tea, the Jordans called it flavored water! But all jokes aside, Frances will always be in our hearts. She has touched so many of our hearts and has left a mark on this community. Frances, you will be missed dearly and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her two children Andrea Marie Jordan and Keith LaRon Jordan both of Monticello; four grandchildren she loved very much, Joshua Caleb Ashbaucher, Luke Allen Ashbaucher, Dalton Lee Jordan and Anna-Jewel Michelle Jordan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren every chance she got. Frances also had a great grandchild, Bralyn Ashbaucher who she loved very much.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Monticello Baptist Temple with Rev. Andy Connard officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. You can sign Mrs. Frances' guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.

I just heard of Mrs. Francis' passing. I got to know her when I attended UAM. She always had a smile and was so kind to everyone she met. Our lost and heaven's gain. Prayers to her family.

Dear family I am so sorry for your loss. Frances was such a wonderful christian lady. She brought a lot of joy and encouragement to everyone she was around. I am so thankful for her friendship. The last time I visited her we sit on her front porch and talked and watched the hummingbirds. Prayers for each of you. June Brixie

I was honored to work alongside Mrs. Jordan at UAM in the School of Education. She was a shameless witness for the Lord. We shared so many conversations, visits, hugs, and we even took a few trips together to Women's Conferences. She always left me feeling better than she found me & as I know she did for every life she touched. She would call my kindness "Golden Nuggets." My dear sister in Christ, cover heaven with your Golden Nuggets! Praying immensely for the family.

Frances was a sweet classmate and we always had a good time catching up when Fred and Gary class had a reunion. To her family, may the Lord comfort you during this time.

I loved hearing her “God” stories, how He worked miracles and answered prayers time and time again. I had the privilege of knowing her and working along beside her during the last days of her employ, met with UAM (33 years for her). She witnessed unashamedly to everyone and poured her heart into working for the Lord. Monticello will miss her in many ways.

I worked with Ms. Jordan for over a decade and know, without a doubt, where she is today. While others were building up treasures on Earth, Ms. Jordan was building up treasures in Heaven. Think of the crowns she has for Jesus. She will be missed.
