Alice Louise Orrell Waldrup, age 90, of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was born March 3, 1932, in Nimrod, AR to the late Lewis and Nancy Orrell. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church of Monticello. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known as Memmy to many. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time visiting with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, N.D. Waldrup; son-in-law, Eddy Cherry; brother, Jimmy Orrell; and grandson, Clint Waldrup.

Alice is survived by sisters, Lola Mae Thompson (the late Marny) and Frances Hayden (Joe Lee); children, Jimmy Duane Waldrup (Barbara), Diana Cherry (the late Eddy), Patty Young (Eddie), Teressa Hunter (Ralph); grandchildren, Brandy Pierce, Jammi Bice, Jennifer Cherry, Bryan Young, Kelli Young, Julia Barnes, and Will Hunter; great-grandchildren, Tristan Waldrup, Gage Waldrup, Lauren Pierce, Lacey Pierce, Ethan Young, Brent Young, Anna Grace Barnes, and Hunter Barnes; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Chuck Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Tillar Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
