Judith was born on November 25, 1949 to Ray and Joan Durham Williams of McGehee, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a previous resident of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Austin, Texas; and Phoenix, Arizona.
Judi grew up in McGehee, Arkansas and after graduating high school Judi attended the University of Arkansas where she obtained a BS in Psychology in 1976. Judi went on to earn a Master's Degree in Education and Counseling in 1980. Continuing her education throughout her career she ultimately obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University in 1995.
She began her chosen career in Social Work as a case worker for Department of Human Services in Carroll County Arkansas where she worked as a foster and adoptive parent recruiter and supervisor for a family outreach program.
A few years later she relocated to Austin, Texas where she served as the Executive Director of the Travis County Counseling Center, and worked as a Clinical Therapist.
She was a Licensed Certified Social Worker in the state of Arkansas and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arizona.
After many years of working in social services and counseling Judi eventually retired in Sun City, Arizona.
Judi chose her career social services because she enjoyed helping people, especially children.
She was a free spirit, never met a stranger, had a kind heart, lived life to the fullest and had many friends.
Judi loved animals and had two small dogs who were her constant companions.
She is survived by her brother Kenneth Williams, sister Janice, and their families.
Burial is under the direction of Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home and her final resting place is the Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, Arkansas. Donations in Judi's memory may be made to Good Shepherd Humane Society, 6486 Highway 62S, in Eureka Springs, AR. 72623.
