Arthur Ray Dillard, 55, of Memphis, TN, was called to his heavenly home on February 16, 2022. He was born in Memphis, TN, on May 9, 1967 to Arthur and Martha Dillard. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, a brother (Roger), and a sister (Rita). He leaves behind his loving wife, Teresa, four children, Beth Thompson (John), Jonathan Dillard (Sarah), Matthew Dillard (Kristy), and Shelby Dillard. He also leaves behind two grandchildren and one on the way. He never met a stranger and always had a smile or joke for someone who needed one. He was an all-star athlete and band member for Westside High School and married the love of his life soon after graduation. He became a music and youth pastor for multiple churches before working for Walmart until retirement. Ray was a light in many lives and his impact is far and wide. He will be missed dearly but, his smile and love for life live on through those that love him. He is smiling down on us today.

A visitation for Ray will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 4924 - Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.

A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1st Baptist Church Millington, 5010 W. Union Road, Millington, TN 38053.

A burial will occur Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
