Jerry Dean Edwards Morgan, age 84 of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her home in Monticello. She was born December 17, 1938, in Columbia, LA to the late William Virgil Edwards and Nonar Elizabeth Powers Edwards.
She was the widow of Glenn Franklin Morgan, a housewife and former member of Second Baptist Church of Monticello. Mrs. Jerry enjoyed fishing, playing bridge but her true passion was spending time studying the word of God and serving Him. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by ten siblings, Noel Donald Edwards, John Benjamin Edwards, Alfred Edwards, Vera Redding Edwards, Lavelle Edwards, Sybil Edwards, Glenn Edwards, Carol Swanner Edwards, Shirley Raye Steele Edwards and John Doyle Edwards.
She is survived by two sons, Franky Morgan and wife Suzan of Monticello and Scotty Morgan of McGehee; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. You can sign Mrs. Jerry's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
