He was a retired mechanic and a Methodist. Thomas enjoyed antique cars and trucks, building race car motors and was a fixer of anything. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Velma I. Graham Ferrell; and two brothers, Bob and John Ferrell.
Survivors include two children, Thomas Dewayne Ferrell of Wilmar and LaDonna Dodson and husband Jessie of Monticello; two brothers, Tim Ferrell and wife Cindy and Jim Ferrell and wife Billie all of Wilmar; one sister, Mary Willabea Ingram of Miami, OK; four grandchildren, Justin and Tommy Ferrell and Jessica and Nicholas Dodson; seven great grandchildren with one more on the way.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ray Hearron. There will be a visitation from 2-3 p.m. preceding the graveside service at the cemetery. You can sign Thomas' guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
