Dear Wanda, Destiney, Jig Benny, Shelley, & family,

Our great God definitely broke the mold when He made your beloved & my friend, Timmy Bodiford! When I think of Timmy, I can’t help but smile & think of the fun we all had back in the day stompin’ around at The Selma Stomp while Jimmy Darrell played our fav C&W songs & at Lil’ Carey Windam’s Motor Speedway before Timmy led the cause to shut that evil $-makin’ machine down! Praise God! I tell you, Wanda, I have never laughed so hard 😆 than on the Saturday Timmy & his ol’ beat up, duct-taped truck left Haistyman & Tony Flem’s piece of crap stalled out at the starting line & then commenced to takin’ names & kickin’ some butt & smoked the rest of ‘em w/ his baby he had runnin’ like a scalded dog 🐕 to win the race that glorious day! Woof! Woof! 🐕 🐾 I’ll never forget it as long as I live & count it as one of my most fav memories of all time! Now, may all of you find comfort during your season of grief in knowing that our Jesus conquered the grave at Calvary this very week over 2,000 yrs ago! So, death doesn’t have to be a sad “Goodbye” 😢, but rather a happy, “See you in a lil’ while! ” 😊 when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior & make Him Lord of our lives to live w/ Him eternally in Heaven, our Immortal Home, where the soul never dies! As 🩸 blood-bought children of the Living God, we are joint heirs w/ Jesus & have a mansion just over the hilltop! Glory Hallelujah! Oh, what a day that will be when we meet Jesus face to face & our loved ones await us at the Eastern Gate & say, “What took you so long to get here, Slowpoke?!” And, w/ a chuckle, we’ll say, “Got here asap!”😉 In closing, a grove of 5 trees 🌲 has been planted in Timmy’s memory in the Rio Grande National Forest where Haistyman & I used to elk hunt many moons 🌝 ago before our beloved Fern Creek was destroyed by wildfires. All my ❤️, thoughts, & fervent ceaseless prayers for all of you, today & always, 🙏 esp to my sweet Destiney, one of the best students I ever had the honor & pleasure of knowing during my teaching days at DCHS as ALE Coordinator. (John 3:16; John10:10)✝️

Dear Wanda, Susie and The Entire Family!
I was so sorry to hear about Timmy! He was such a good neighbor and friend to my Mom, Virginia Robinson! She loved little Timmy! One day I called her and she said God sent Timmy to her house ! She said he just showed up and asked if she needed any help with anything. She said she asked if he could fix her dryer belt...he fixed it and won’t take a dime! Another time he fixed her hot water heater! He was a true example of a good neighbor! Mom and Rachel were really close! We love all of The Bodiford Family! Please know you’re in my prayers and may God’s peace and comfort be with each of you!
